I'm currently in Val Marie, Saskatchewan (not even an hour away from the U.S./Canada border). Reason? I'm working with a partnership program with Grasslands National Park and Prairie Learning Center. So I've been working at least 8 hours a day doing fairly weird jobs...I've been doing seed cleaning, Prarie Dog mapping, workshopping (if that's a word, but we're designing our own workshop), and being boreding. The population of Val Marie is about 130 and they watch a movie on Fridays and Saturdays for fun (one movie, two showings.) It's funny cause I don't even watch movies...Oh well. It's busy during the day, but during the evening, Kj (my partner who is here) and I basically listen to music, have baths, play keyboard...and sleep. Cooking too, but it usually doesn't take that long.

It's always windy here...Yesterday, I was in the Grasslands National Park (GNP) and this buck deer started walking towards me from a distance. It came closer and closer and my supervisor radioed me and was like "Jenna..watch that deer.." It was kinda creepy, but not long after she radioed me, it bounced off. Deer a fun to watch, they just kinda bounce a lot...anyway..

Random mental note: You know those old western movies with barren land and nothing but tumble-weed and abandoned buildings? That's what it's like here. Yes, there is tumbleweed (and it gets caught in bike tires, so I hear), many of the buildings here are closed down, the roads aren't even paved, there's almost no one around, it's always windy so things are always creaking or slamming or something, and since it's almost winter, it's been getting dark a lot quicker. On the bright side, there's no snow yet but it still gets pretty chilly. Anyway, life has been very, very interesting here...I hope to hear from whoever reads this.

I've been very busy. My summer was really really really busy and I thought I should update everyone on what I was doing and stuff...

Alright. Well like, 2 days after school got out, most of my family (aside from Luke and James) took off to Southern Ontario. It was...4-5 day drive (I can't really remember exactly..they kinda all blurred into one.)..so yeah, I was there for like, 11 days...I visited a bunch of relitives on my dad's side. I actually really really really enjoyed it. I guess if I had really wanted to, I could've stayed home, but I didn't want to, and I'm glad I didn't stay home. So yeah, after that, we went through the northern-ish states (dem crazy emericans) to Manitoba where I was at a conference thing...so I met a bunch of people and that was pretty cool. (That lasted for like, 3 days)..After that, I went home (and drove for like, 4 hours =D)..We also passed through "Melfart" and stopped by Extra Foods, but we never saw anyone we knew =(..so that was unfortunate.

After that, I stayed home for a week-ish...then I took off to camp for two weeks. The first week, I was a counsellor with Tammy and I had only 3 girls in my cabin (it was a small week..). Brooke, Veronica, and Cassie...That went really well. I was friends with all the other counsellors and we had a great time...The second week I was a camper at a youth camp (even though everyone thought I was a counsellor anyway)..I played Billy that week and I was in Karina and Kristi's cabin. It was the best. I had also sprained my ankle like, twice at camp..so it was puffy and stuff, but I kept walking on it...

Again, I went back home for a few days..then I took off again to a small college in Northern Alberta (KBI) for a conference. From there, about 30ish people ages 12 to 23 all went on a bus on a trip to Calgary and Banff, Alberta...I had the time of my life. We climbed the mountain (if you wanna call it 'climbed'..there was like, a trail =P) and then we rode down in the Gondola...so yeah. It was awesome. I forget which mountian, it starts with a S if you wanna know...maybe Sulfur Mountain or something.

Anyway..so after that I came home and had like, a day or two to relax..then I had a birthday party...I just invited a bunch of people to hang out and they did..so yeah. It was so much fun =D

After that I had like, a few days again..and then school started. I'm actually looking forward to school this year because I'm in a program called Outdoor School. It's sooo awesome .. but we're gonna be on lots of trips and stuff...so yeah. It's so fun so far and I love it..so if I randomly disappear, that's probably why...Anyway, yeah. I'm running out of time so goodbye to anyone who actually still comes to my blog..=)

Randomess

Yeah. You all thought I was dead, DEAD.

Boo! I'm not! I'm so proud..

Well, lots of things happened since my last post, I'll tell of one memory in particular...

For those of you that don't know, I work (volunteer...so no pay) at my local hospital. There's so many stories from the years that I have worked there, but this particular story wasn't about AT the hospital, but on the way to the hospital.
This week that I'm thinking of, I was on my bike on the way to the hospital on a Friday, for the year was just wrapping up and I was going for a "Volunteer Appreciation for Volunteers" (Duh). Well, anyway, on the way to the hospital, I can take two routes (both of which we go by a local reserve). One route is where you go on a road...until you get to the hospital, and one where you go 'off-road' to get to the hospital. I wanted to be gimpy, so I took the off-road one, which had many bushes, bugs, and...bumps. It's actually quite fun to bike on.

Anyway, I was gaining speed to go over all the dips and slopes, when behind a bush, a little girl on a pink bike stopped me. She never even said hi, or sorry, or excuse me.
"When you see those boys, tell them to not beat me up," was the first thing she said. I was thinking, "Awwwwwww...Poor girl". I never actually saw any 'boys', but looking beyond her, I saw a bunch of 'boys' who seemed all like they were about 8-10 or 11 years old.

So, being the friendly and kind person I am (haha...), I helped her find her brother, who was just (guestimation of) 100 meters away. Then she told him that 'a lady' (while pointing to me) helped her stay away from the 'boys'.

I feel old. She called me a lady. o.o

Yep. Then I went to the hospital and saw friends and hung out and ate brownies and sugar and ice cream. Yum.

Lets see...I can't really think of much else I did. Except it's been so weird at school, I'm becoming friends with the 'group' of people who are like, mohawked, and...basically are described as strange. Funny how I fit in so well, ehh?

Do you know what it's like to walk around a mall with a guy who has a mohawk spiked up almost a foot long?

We got the weirdest looks. The guy told me that he supposively made a little kid cry just by the kid looking at him. Then there were the more 'un-shy' little kids who would just stare at him, with the occasional one laughing. People are so mean to him though, too. Once, he told me he went to St. Mary's High School (a High School where I live) and people were laughing at him and saying "Go back to the circus, you freak!"

x.x People are so mean.

Anyway! With that positive point (note the sarcasm), I'll head off because this is getting long and I'm rambling over nothing.

Quote of the day:

"Ow, you got bugspray in my eyes."
"QUICK! Rub it off on the concrete!!"
"It's not working!"

Word of the day:

Exoitment - (Ex - oyt - ment)

You Newsboys fans will probably know what this word means. It's basically 'Excitement' with an Austrailian accent. I obviously cannot take credit for this word, but hey, it's cool.

Thought of the day:

How would your reaction be if you were awarded The Good Eater Award™?

Fwaping. Oh, I showed the Melfartians my backwards arm.

I'm at school. Again.

Hey ay hey..Fresh rye bread...That came out of the depths of nowhere.

Anyway, as you can see, I'm at school. Again. I never seem to find the time at home to do my blogs, and I haven't got in trouble for doing them here. Yet. Oh well, only time will tell.

A little while ago, I came back from Alberta at KBI. I guess it was fun, I was kind of lonely though. There was no one I was friends with there except for like, people that used to live in PA or people that I just...knew. Which is like, no one. It was kind of a drag, but hey, I survived. (I was listening to music most of the time...)

On the way back from Alberta, we stopped at Creation Celebration. We didn't even really know that we were going there till that morning. (It was never confirmed.) Anyway, that was pretty good although I wasn't there for most of the time and I didn't learn too much more about Creation. I got to see Elly, Essy, Prentis, Misty, and other PAers that I knew. Hey you guys! *Waves* That was good to see everyone again, y'know like, with the gang all there. Hoorae! xD

Yesterday was pretty cool. I went to my old school (PACI) and I got to see people that I haven't seen in forever. It was also John (B), Josh (B), Kim (W), and Tynera's birthday. T'was quite cool actually even thought I didn't get invited to any of the parties. Oh well, it was fun.

The bell is gonna go in 15 minutes.

Thought of the Day:

The more I get to know guys...the more I like dogs...

Quote of the Day:

(This is a special quote from Chris(tal) herself!!:) I can't take care of dead people.

Word of the Day:

Limey Limey Limey... (Lye - me - lye - me - lye - me)
Although this is actually three words, it is the famous words of Shatleigh during a Bible study. T'was weird, we were all playing a board game, and she said that out of nowhere in a singy-song kind of voice. It sounded so...blond! It was great...

I HAVE TEN MINUTES! I should like, sleep. Anyway, I met awesome people at the girls conference. The weird part of the whole thing was that my brother was there (go figure) ... he was running the sound o.o

I HAVE A NEW NICKNAME! Jenncog. :) Or call me whatever you want, becaue that's what everyone else does. I'm not even bugged by being called Jenny anymore...

Word of The Day:

Buckley's yo (Buck- lee - z - yoh)

Buckley's yo will can also mean Jabaladoeh, except, when Buckley's yo is used, the polite way to respond is Robatussion ehh. (See Robatussion ehh.) Buckley's yo originated from the classic cough medicine "Buckley's". When James always had his greeting, "Morning," I wanted a greeting as well, but not "Afternoon" because that's just like, being normal. So, we came up with Buckley's yo. (Note: Normal people just nod their head and smile when I greet them.)

Thought of the Day:

Teach me guitar!

Quote of the Day:

Come be a loner with me! This was no ordinary cow; she was Lassie The Wonder Cow!

One day, Lucy and Little Timmy were out playing. Then suddenly Lucy came running to Lassie,
"Little Timmy fell down the well!" she said, breathlessly.
Lassie took instant action.
"Moo!" Lassie flew over to the well and looked in.
"Moo," Lassie called down the well. Lassie jumped into the well to save Little Timmy, but only resulted in crushing and killing him.
"Owwie!" exclaimed Little Timmy, "Bad Lassie!" and with his last breath he breathed in death.

Rescuers tried day and night to get Lassie out, but she was just too heavy. She continually mooed at them to keep trying, but they eventually had to give up.
"I'm so sorry Lassie," Lucy said sympathetically, looking down the well.
"Moo?" asked Lassie.
Lucy started to cry as the butcher headed down the well with his knife.

Chapter Two - Littler Billy

Littler Billy, who was Little Timmy's younger brother who was this guy's friend's great uncle's second cousin twice removed bought a hamster from his friend's neice's fiance's great grandmother's friend's cow's friend was sitting in his bedroom mourning over the death of his older brother, Little Timmy.
"A COW SAT ON MY BIG BROTHER!" Littler Billy wailed, when suddenly, a penguin flew into his room through the window.

Now, Litter Billy loved penguins; He even had penguin wallpaper, so he immediately stopped crying.
"Pretty birdie!" he exclaimed. He slowly moved towards it, wanting to pet it.

The penguin suddenly squawked and flew out the window. Littler Billy liked it so much, he flew out the window, too. He was soaring through the air just like the penguin when suddenly he realized he couldn't fly.

So he didn't.

Need I say more?

Yes, I do, so anyways, Littler Billy came down, swimming like a brick through the air. Arms flailing, legs kicking and voice screaming. He screamed for what seemed like an hour. Then he got bored and stopped, so he just fell silently.

And fell.

And fell.

And fell.

And fell some more. :) Until finally, he hit the ground!

"SPLAT!"

No, I was just kidding. He landed on the picket fence!

"POP!"

...I'm kidding... He landed in the well.

"SPLASH!"

Chapter Three - Jimmy

Jimmy, the older brother of Littler Billy, and Little Timmy who was this guy's friend's great uncle's second cousin twice removed bought a hamster from his friend's neice's fiance's great grandmother's friend was having very mixed feelings about the death of his two brothers.
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, my brother fell down a well and died... and my other brother got sat on by a cow that I just ate 20 minutes ago," wailed Jimmy.

Jimmy suddenly stopped crying and started laughing. "Now I never have to worry about them bugging me. I'm free! FREE!" but Jimmy started realizing something else, "Who am I going to play with now?" Jimmy started wailing again.

After a while, Jimmy stopped crying and went over to the well to get some water for supper. As he lowered the bucket, something crashed into the bucket and he accidently let go of the rope. The bucket went tumbling down the well. Jimmy strugged to grab the rope. When he finally got hold of it, the weight of the bucket swept him off his feet, and he went headfirst into the well.

At the bottom of the well, in the depths of darkness and dispair, he heard voices,
"Hellooooooooooo," the voices said.
"Help me!" Jimmy screamed, terrified.
"You'll never get out alive," the voices said.
"Leave me alone!" Jimmy yelled into the darkness.
"Aw... You're so mean," Littler Billy punched Jimmy on the nose.
"AHH, IT'S A GHOST!!" Jimmy has a heart attack and dies.

THE END

Okay, okay...It was a little overboard...My friend Nikki and I wrote that story...She handed it in to her English teacher for an assignment. 100%

Go figure.

Anyway, don't ask me what happened at the last chaper thingy.. I never wrote that part and I never really understood it myself.

I've decided to write in my blog more often and to have a
1. Word of the day (Made by me) and it's origin.
2. Quote of the day.
3. Thought of the day.

It may be serious, and it may be another Lassie The Wonder Cow story... If you be nice, I'll spare you those...And I think this is all that I'll say today.

Word of the Day:

Jabalado (Jab-a-lad-oh):

This means... I don't know what it means. It's the root words for things such as Jabaladoweee and Jabaladoeh. It came from my friend Toby on MSN... He was typing things like "alskdhglashg" and such, and it just turned out as Jabalado. I can unforunately not take credit for this word.

Quote of the Day:

Take my advice... "Braggart". It was supposed to mean "One who brags," but then, to my disappointment, I found out it was already made.. Which ruined my fun when me and Nikki started calling Abe a braggart...Hmm... In Social at school, we were talking about things that happened in Canada and what was fair and not...People were asking, "Is it fair that Quebec tried to leave Canada?" and after a quick discussion, me and my friend came to the conclusion that it wasn't, in fact, fair. Quebecians ARE Canada. And such. I guess. So we thought we'd kidnap Quebec so they couldn't leave Canada... (Which explains my name)... And I think I should write a song about that... Hmm...

Well, today was the last day of school for this year!! Wewt! I'm looking foreward to it, even though I'll be VERY bored... ah, I'll survive.. Anyway, look! I updated my blog.. WITHIN THE MONTH.. I think.. Right? Man, this is weird... I'd better be careful, or this will turn into a pattern ;) We'll see...
Merry Christmas if I don't write in this until... Christmas! XP

Thought of the day: If you had a stalker, would they follow you if you climbed to the top of Mount Everest even though it's hard to stalk someone on a mountain?...

My eyeballs are going to fall out.

Yo. I like, never write in here... Maybe I should more often. Maybe I will. Maybe I won't. Well, what's new with me? Probably lots of things since I last wrote in here. I still haven't got lost at school (heehee...) and I've been making lotsa new friends. There has been a few problems and all, but I think I've got it all settled out...For now, anyway.
It's cold outside. There's snow. Ice. Snow...Maybe all the Prince Albertians and Melfartians should all retreat to Florida this Christmas and have intellectual conversations with communist smurfs.
Or we can just stay in Saskatchewan and freeze to death :) (Which is probably more likely to happen)
It's been weird... Like, at school, I liked all my teachers, except for two. There was one teacher I couldn't STAND!! She seriously drove me insane. I'm SO grateful that everyone (not just me but EVERYONE) got transferred to a new class.
God answers prayer... Heehee... Its amazing how things work out, even the simplist things, too.
I also remember saying one day "I want to learn how to play bass guitar." I think that was a little bit before the summer of 2004. Now I play bass in the Y Band!! ^___^ It's been awesome. Some things in my life have been going REALLY great. For example, there's been a few people I never really got along with... And I ended up talking to them and stuff. Now we talk, and are kind of "friends", but it's WAY better than before.
Wow, this is like, getting long... And I havn't even really said anything. How amazing. :)
I have had various nicknames in the past: "The Girl With No Leg, Cripple, Click-Stomp, Crutches, Jedda, Jen, Ear, Rae, Fuzzy, etc" and am now known as "The Queer Typer." I don't know what I just said that... But I did. So there. :)

Thought of the day: What would you do if a Communist Smurf came to your house and stole all your favorite socks and kidnapped them to Bulgaria to sell them to a terrorist who makes yo-yo's for a living that smuggled them through the Underground Railroad to China to sell to the Rice Farmer who uses them for fertilizer?

Jabaladoeh!!

Hiiiiiiiiiiii, what's up? At least I think it was yesterday. I saw a TON of people that I havn't seen in a loooong time. I made new friends and I learned a LOT the time I was there. Unfortunatly, it was very cold on the trip.. haha, here's a quote I'll never forget. In the tent, during like, the middle of the night, Christal rolled over and she was like "Jenna... are you awake?" "Yep.." "I have hypothermia... No wait.. If I had hypothermia, then I'd be warm" Heehee.. That's always great. That's where I became friends with Lois. And I saw Christie, Christie-Ann(e), Christie, Amy, Lisa, Esther, Karina, Christal, Yo (aka Tim aka Banana), and there were like, 2 other Tims.. and there was also James, Jenna, Erica, Pack-Pack, Alex, Keywatin, Ken, Steve, Ben, Curtis, Chris, and... Kara, Kathy, Kimberly, Caleb, Wade, Kyle... and I can't remember anyone else right now. Anyway, James and Steve made a DVD of the trip, so yeah, that's awesome! =)

Thought of the day: I most likely won't get a Chinchilla for my birthday.

Jabaladoweeeeeeeeee

'ello, 'ello, suuuuuup? Well it's my first entry... First of all, Who am I? Good question, eh? Well... as you can probably see, Ear is everywhere on my site. Am I obsessed with ears? Lets hope not... Actually, it says Ear because I couldn't think of any other name that I could use. Ear is my middle name backwards (Rae, if you havn't figured it out) and it is the name that my brother calls me. I am unfortunatly not very creative but -- oop.. suppertime... bad timing to start this :P You'll get to know me for the past ... however long it takes for me to make this. So peace out.
