You'll never guess...

I actually made a new post.

:o

Scary, ehh? You all thought I was dead, DEAD.

Boo! I'm not! I'm so proud..

Well, lots of things happened since my last post, I'll tell of one memory in particular...

For those of you that don't know, I work (volunteer...so no pay) at my local hospital. There's so many stories from the years that I have worked there, but this particular story wasn't about AT the hospital, but on the way to the hospital.
This week that I'm thinking of, I was on my bike on the way to the hospital on a Friday, for the year was just wrapping up and I was going for a "Volunteer Appreciation for Volunteers" (Duh). Well, anyway, on the way to the hospital, I can take two routes (both of which we go by a local reserve). One route is where you go on a road...until you get to the hospital, and one where you go 'off-road' to get to the hospital. I wanted to be gimpy, so I took the off-road one, which had many bushes, bugs, and...bumps. It's actually quite fun to bike on.

Anyway, I was gaining speed to go over all the dips and slopes, when behind a bush, a little girl on a pink bike stopped me. She never even said hi, or sorry, or excuse me.
"When you see those boys, tell them to not beat me up," was the first thing she said. I was thinking, "Awwwwwww...Poor girl". I never actually saw any 'boys', but looking beyond her, I saw a bunch of 'boys' who seemed all like they were about 8-10 or 11 years old.

So, being the friendly and kind person I am (haha...), I helped her find her brother, who was just (guestimation of) 100 meters away. Then she told him that 'a lady' (while pointing to me) helped her stay away from the 'boys'.

I feel old. She called me a lady. o.o

Yep. Then I went to the hospital and saw friends and hung out and ate brownies and sugar and ice cream. Yum.

Lets see...I can't really think of much else I did. Except it's been so weird at school, I'm becoming friends with the 'group' of people who are like, mohawked, and...basically are described as strange. Funny how I fit in so well, ehh?

Do you know what it's like to walk around a mall with a guy who has a mohawk spiked up almost a foot long?

We got the weirdest looks. The guy told me that he supposively made a little kid cry just by the kid looking at him. Then there were the more 'un-shy' little kids who would just stare at him, with the occasional one laughing. People are so mean to him though, too. Once, he told me he went to St. Mary's High School (a High School where I live) and people were laughing at him and saying "Go back to the circus, you freak!"

x.x People are so mean.

Anyway! With that positive point (note the sarcasm), I'll head off because this is getting long and I'm rambling over nothing.

Quote of the day:

"Ow, you got bugspray in my eyes."
"QUICK! Rub it off on the concrete!!"
"It's not working!"

Word of the day:

Exoitment - (Ex - oyt - ment)

You Newsboys fans will probably know what this word means. It's basically 'Excitement' with an Austrailian accent. I obviously cannot take credit for this word, but hey, it's cool.

Thought of the day:

How would your reaction be if you were awarded The Good Eater Award™?

Fwaping. Oh, I showed the Melfartians my backwards arm.
